Thankful for so many things!

Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and I am eager to spend some quality time  with my  family eating turkey and stuffing. Afterwards, I look forward to enjoying some pumpkin pie and egg nog while sitting next to a warm crackling fire playing a game of cards and sharing stories of life, love and music.  I have so much to be grateful for this year because it truly has been such a blessed year for me. So first and foremost, I would like to thank each and every one of my readers and fans. Because, my success would be obsolete without all your support. Also, everyone one that has taken the time to share my work with your friends and family, I owe to you the utmost gratitude! The fan support, comments, compliments, and encouragements have been outstanding! I just feel so lucky and so thankful for you all.

One of my favorite things about this time of year is the giving aspect of it.  I would like to say that there is just no greater feeling to be felt than that of the sheer delight of just giving,  To me that feeling is priceless, invaluable, and eternally memorable. To see how their faces light up as they tear away that colored paper, and hold in their hands a beautiful token of your love and appreciation for them. That smile, the little squeak of joy, that sudden burst of laughter upon receiving that something that they just always wanted, or, maybe it was something they badly needed but couldn’t acquire it on their own. Either way, there is just nothing better. Giving has so many benefits, both physically and emotionally. Giving doesn’t always require money either. Some of the most giving, loving, and caring people have absolutely nothing and still will find a way. Giving only requires a little bit of time, energy, and love. Giving is also great natural stress reliever, seratonin booster, and mood enhancer. Also, it has a HUGE ripple effect! Because everytime you give something to someone, whether it be your time, your love, or that jacket hanging in your closet that you haven’t worn for two years, you create a ripple. Then, your one small act of kindness can easily multiply from one person to the next, growing with each new act of kindness as it continues to grow and grow… into eternity where it continues to set off new acts of kindness for always and forever. Think about that next time you throw a dollar in that old war vets suitcase, or bring some new clothes over for the girl next door, who’s mom is struggling to raise three kids on her own and can’t afford to buy her a new dress for the dance. And remember, everytime you do something good for someone else you are creating this ripple that will continue to spread throughout all time. Because small things, make BIG differences.l

Love You All and Happy Holidays!!
